After seeing a number of failures of the new plastic KTM unit, we are recommending this modification to most TBI riders (we saw only a limited number of failures with the TPI platform as it was 2 piece aluminium). certainly if you are doing any type of riding that would require a fan as the additional pressure from heat inside the cooling system seems to be the cause of failure.
