  • Make sure the flywheel thread is clean of dirt and not damaged before screwing the puller in.
  
  
  • Use copper grease on the puller threads, for long life.
  
  
  • Make sure the puller is fully screwed into the flywheel.
  
  
  • After tightening use a hammer on the center and tap to jolt free [not always needed].
  
  
  • If using old flywheel pullers make sure the threads are in good condition before use to avoid damage to the flywheel.
