Use and Storage

• Replace the cap tightly immediately after use and between periods of intermittent writing. Do not leave the pen uncapped for more than five minutes; prolonged exposure to air can dry out the nib and stop the pen writing.


• Ensure the cap is fully secured before transport or storage. A loose cap can allow the ink to dry out.


• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, which accelerate ink evaporation.


• If the pen has been uncapped only briefly and the nib is slightly dry, secure the cap and leave the pen nib-down for 1–2 hours before testing it. A nib that has dried out completely after prolonged exposure cannot be restored.
