This flywheel puller is designed for engines with an M28 x 1.0 right-hand internal flywheel thread and includes an M14 crank end protection cap to protect the crankshaft during removal. Manufactured from high carbon steel with a durable black oxide finish and heat treatment, it provides secure, controlled extraction of flywheels or rotors where applicable.

Features

  • Removes flywheels or rotors on applicable engines with M28 x 1.0 RH internal threads

  • M14 crank end protection cap to prevent crankshaft damage during extraction

  • Heat treated for strength and durability

  • Durable hot black oxide finish

  • Tips on use:

    • Ensure the flywheel’s internal thread is clean and undamaged before installing the puller

    • Apply copper grease to the puller threads to promote long service life

    • Screw the puller fully into the flywheel before tightening

    • After tightening, a light tap on the centre can help release a stubborn flywheel (not always necessary)

    • Inspect older pullers to confirm thread condition before use to avoid flywheel damage
