Developed in-house by SMX Offroad for the CFMOTO 800MT-X, SMX MODE provides a quick and deliberate way to disable the ABS and Traction Control systems when riding off-road.
Instead of navigating through the bike's settings each time they're required off, simply press both SMX MODE buttons simultaneously. The dual-button design prevents accidental activation and, once triggered, ABS and Traction Control remain disabled for the remainder of that ignition cycle.
WORKS IN ALL RIDING MODES
Activate SMX MODE while using your preferred riding mode — no need to change engine mode just to disable ABS & Traction Control.
Switch the ignition off and restart the bike and the factory systems are automatically restored — no additional switches to reset or settings to remember.
The system uses a plug-and-play 70 cm wiring harness which connects inline with the original motorcycle wiring, requiring no cutting, splicing or permanent modification of the factory loom. Installation requires removal of just one body panel, with the switch assembly mounting neatly into the factory dash area for an OEM-style finish.
Each switch panel is 3D printed in-house by SMX Offroad, with the graphics permanently laser etched into the surface. The twin waterproof momentary switches provide positive operation even when wearing riding gloves.
